Hi, I'm Brandon, and was looking up this character in my kanji dictionary (Spahn and Hadamitzky style; the yellow learners one used in Japanese classrooms a lot) and noticed that even though this character is a Joyo kanji, there is no Spahn and Hadamitzky Kanji notation (say 2a11.17 for example), nor is it even in the Spahn and Hadamitzky Kanji dictionary. I tried looking up why or something about it, but I found nothing.

Does anyone know why this specific kanji isn't in a dictionary with thousands of obscure, unused characters but remains on the Joyo list? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi. Was the kanji dictionary published before 2010? This character was incorporated into the list of Jōyō kanji in 2010, so if the publication date precedes this enlargement, at that time 僅 must have been a Hyōgai kanji. The uſer hight Bogorm converſation 17:09, 2 July 2018 (UTC)
