Rfv-sense: "cession". Added by @Mar vin kaiser. RcAlex36 (talk) 08:32, 5 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

@RcAlex36: It looks like I got that from CC-CEDICT. --Mar vin kaiser (talk) 13:58, 5 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Mar vin kaiser: I personally think working with monolingual dictionaries is better. Reading the example sentences is also key for getting the definitions right. RcAlex36 (talk) 14:04, 5 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
@RcAlex36: I still think it's right in this case though. The meaning of 割讓 is "to cede (a territory)". And I think it is used also as the noun form of that, which is "cession", or "the act of ceding a territory". Look at this example sentence I found, "第三国无权反对割让." "Third-party states have no title to object to cession." --Mar vin kaiser (talk) 14:08, 5 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Mar vin kaiser: Still looks like a verb to me. You can replace 割讓 with 出兵, 動工, 開會, 投降, etc., which are all labelled verbs here on Wiktionary, in the sentence you have given. RcAlex36 (talk) 14:13, 5 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
Probably delete - it's just a verb used like a noun (like gerunds in English). — justin(r)leung (t...) | c=› } 17:34, 5 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
