Compound[edit]

What does 库中 mean and do we need an entry for this word? 24.93.170.200 06:54, 16 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Without any other context, I would say that it means "inside the warehouse." This type of entry is what we refer to as a "sum of parts" entry. Such entries are discouraged here at Wiktionary, unless there is some compelling reason to include it. Generally speaking, we are more flexible with foreign words than English entries. However, in this case, I would say that an entry is not needed. -- A-cai 11:50, 16 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

I just come across these things in text and don't always know if they're real words. In this case, it doesn't sound like either an actual word or idiom. 24.93.170.200 05:20, 17 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Mandarin readings[edit]

Can it be added in which contexts the different Mandarin readings are used? 24.29.228.33 19:32, 6 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
