Erhua form[edit]

@Dokurrat I think it's definitely an erhua form of . In the written language, I'm pretty sure 空 is more frequently used in place of 空兒. In Xiandai Hanyu Cidian and Xiandai Hanyu Guifan Cidian, the definitions are placed under , and there isn't an entry for 空兒. — justin(r)leung (t...) | c=› } 13:28, 24 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

@Justinrleung: I'm not disputing that 空兒 is an erhua form of 空. Erhua is indeed a complex issue, so I think I don't have an opinion for whether to use the template "cmn-erhua form of" for now. But I still think it would be better to write the definitions outside it and after a colon. Your opinion about this? Dokurrat (talk) 12:41, 5 February 2019 (UTC) (modified)Reply
@Dokurrat: If we're changing the format of the template, shouldn't we change it for all uses of the template? Why is this word different? — justin(r)leung (t...) | c=› } 20:45, 5 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
@Justinrleung: Well, if we're changing the format of the template, we should change it for all uses of the template. This word is of no different. I'm just thinking it's a lot of work. So, as for me, I would only do it for new entries or when modifying an entry. Dokurrat (talk) 07:37, 13 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
@Dokurrat: Why would it be a lot of work? We just need to change how it looks at the template. — justin(r)leung (t...) | c=› } 07:48, 13 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
@Justinrleung: 😅 How silly I am! Okay. Dokurrat (talk) 07:51, 13 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
