Can this also mean "to accompany (someone)"? 71.66.97.228 03:36, 13 January 2011 (UTC)
- Well, you usually accompany someone when you are sending the person off somewhere. Is that what you mean? This is sort of implied. However it does not mean 'to accompany' in general. Just on a different note, in some regions of China, this phrase can also refer to the tradition where the relatives of the bride sends her off to her bridegroom's family.
