Traditional?[edit]

The entry on the first character, doesn't state that that character may also be traditional Chinese. Can it be? If so, can that information be added to that entry? 24.29.228.33 22:48, 7 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

you're right. There're two characters with different meaning: 面 means face or surface, and (麥+面) means noodles. Because their pronounciation are same, 麵 is simplified into 面 in simplifed Chinese, therefore 面 has the meaning of both 麵 and 面.--Wihwang 11:30, 5 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
