This is a chestnut emoji, not an English word, and the attestation is nonsense. In what sense is a cartoon squirrel speaking "English" when it says a picture inside a speech bubble? In what sense is it saying a particular emoji, decades before the creation of that emoji? Rspeer (talk) 16:15, 26 June 2018 (UTC)
- It could be changed to Translingual. Re "decades before the creation of that emoji": that seems like saying that nobody could use the word dog prior to the computerised ASCII letters d - o - g, or the printing-press. Equinox ◑ 16:17, 26 June 2018 (UTC)
- Harmonicaplayer's resolution is entirely reasonable -- I hadn't known there was once a valid Translingual entry there. But, for what it's worth, I disagree with that comparison. Letters are used to spell words that exist, but the creation of a dog emoji does not retroactively turn every picture of a dog into a dog emoji. Rspeer (talk) 17:03, 26 June 2018 (UTC)

- As much as I find emoji distasteful, Wonderfool's deletion is "out of process" and we ought to discuss the RFD properly whether English or Translingual. Equinox ◑ 22:22, 27 June 2018 (UTC)
