The fourth entry (“A prostitute working out of a bar.”) is not supported by the quotation; in fact, the quotation implies the opposite: That prostitution is explicitly not part of being a B-girl. I tried finding a different source, but I couldn’t find anything reliable, only a few user-provided entries in dubious online dictionaries and the like. I’m going to remove it and preserve it here:

     The girls were recruited by the Sappersteins in Baltimore, allegedly for employment as B-Girls and strip dancers at the Club in Calumet City managed by Austrew. In fact, upon arrival in Calumet City it turned out that they were expected and encouraged to prostitute themselves, as well as to engage in activities for which they were ostensibly employed.

For future reference, the way to dispute possibly incorrect definition is WT:RFV (read the intro so see what the page is for). I'm gonna leave this sense deleted as I think you're right, it's just a mistake, but if someone else restores it so be it (they'll be doing so within the usual protocol, so I'd have no grounds to object). In A Confederacy of Dunces (where I came across the term and needed to look it up) the police are tipped off to the existence of B-girls in an establishment, so it would seem there is some element of vice involved, not merely selling drinks:

The sergeant would be glad to know about the place. He might even compliment Patrolman Mancuso for getting the tip. Clearing his throat, Patrolman Mancuso stood before the sergeant and said, “I got a lead on a place where they got B-girls.”

“A lady was in a place like that alone?” the sergeant screamed. “What kinda lady was this? She’s probly a B-girl herself. Get outta here, Mancuso, and bring me in a suspicious character. You ain’t brought in one person yet. Don’t gimme no tips from B-girls. Go look in your locker. You’re a soldier today. Beat it.”
