Britain and Ireland[edit]

Please see the entry for Anglo-Celtic Isles above. Matt Lewis 04:11, 19 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

The first definition is as sum of parts as one can imagine, Britain + and + Ireland. The second one, in my opinion, is wrong. People don't say "Britain and Ireland" as a synonym for the British Isles, so delete. But I await further arguments. --Mglovesfun (talk) 13:57, 20 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
Agree. I have never come across this term except as sum of parts. I couldn't find anything else after a quick Google books search. SemperBlotto 14:04, 20 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
  • Delete, sum of parts. And it isn't synonymous with British Isles, as British Isles includes the Isle of Man, while Britain and Ireland excludes it. —Angr 07:47, 28 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
Delete, see my comment above. --Mglovesfun (talk) 19:20, 3 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
Delete both as sum of parts. We don't have an entry for USA, Canada, and Mexico and try and call it a synonym for North America. The same silly logic is being used here.--Dmol 00:50, 5 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
