@Prisencolin, Justinrleung Encyclopædia Britannica (1902) discussed this word and how the confusion arose. It appears this form may be a variant of the earlier Chincheo, used by Jesuits of the 16th and 17th centuries. Wyang (talk) 02:21, 18 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
