RFD discussion: July–October 2020[edit]

It should not be re-entered without careful consideration.

Again I think this is like the New in New York, a word that is capitalised only by virtue of being part of a proper noun. There are two senses here: 1. "International Airport (as the shortened form of an airport name)", and 2. "A shortened form of the name of an international group" (with a citation about "the leaders of the ditherers' International" in politics); sense 2 is the same as the better definition at lower-case, "(politics) A transnational organization of political parties of similar ideology." I'm inclined to agree - the same thing with Prime Minister (and a few others I suspect). International, however, was a make of truck manufactured by International Harvester, so the entry could be retained for that. DonnanZ (talk) 08:36, 9 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
I added the vehicle sense, and altered the RFD to {{rfd-sense|en}}. DonnanZ (talk) 12:52, 10 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
Delete both senses, it's like referring to the High Court of Appeals for Foobar or the Supreme Court of the United States of America as "the Court" (which was deleted, see Talk:Court), and indeed the quotation under sense 2 exemplifies this, by also speaking of the Party. - -sche (discuss) 08:59, 9 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
