Sense 6, the plural "Lieben" as in "meine Lieben", is not actually the plural of the noun "Liebe". It's a substantivized form of the adjective lieb, as shown by the fact that its masculine singular equivalent is "mein Lieber". —Angr 14:30, 10 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
