It is demonstrably wrong to claim it only occurs in the singular. The very name of the play has been passed down as Menaechmī, after all. However, I cannot find any other attested forms of it in the plural; there are no Menaechmōs, Menaechmōrum or Menaechmīs, and the only instance of Menaechmī in the play itself, is a genitive singular. (Of course, other commentators could have referenced the play, especially in accusative plural.) CannedMan (talk) 21:28, 7 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
