I nom Sakesphorus canadensis for deletion, because I thought taxonomic names didn't warrant inclusion in here. Right/wrong? They probably do belong though, just thought I'd check. --Dangherous 17:12, 1 June 2006 (UTC)
- I'm pretty sure there was a discussion early this year concluding that they were OK. But I'm not happy with the ===Taxon=== heading I've seen a few times. --Connel MacKenzie T C 23:27, 1 June 2006 (UTC)
- They are perfectly acceptable. We even have a list at Appendix:Taxonomic names. This one though is not formatted in the usual manner. SemperBlotto 07:31, 2 June 2006 (UTC)

- It is sensible to include taxonomical names in Wiktionary; no other project can cover well the meaning of taxonomical names.--Jyril 20:46, 21 July 2006 (UTC)
