Rfv-sense "Abbreviation of Andhra Pradesh." I'm not spotting anything suggestive of this on the first few pages of google books:TG Pradesh (the instances of "TG" I see with this capitalization and in the context of placenames are in the context of Madhya Pradesh and seem like they might abbreviate some word for an area or feature, like co. or st.). Wikipedia thinks the abbreviation of Andhra Pradesh is "AP". @Gotitbro. Is this rather an abbreviation of Telugu...? - -sche (discuss) 20:48, 4 April 2023 (UTC)

@-sche: Thanks for pointing that out. It was actually an abbreviation of Telangana which was divided from Andhra Pradesh as a new state in India. Somehow got them mixed, verfied it now. Gotitbro (talk) 21:05, 4 April 2023 (UTC)
