I believe it's misleading to state it as a constant current source since it is only so if it's in contact with a conductor, and the normal usage of a VDG is the sudden discharge (and charge again) of electric shocks.

Well Wiktionary shouldn't be rabbitting on about irrelevant stuff like that at all. So I've removed it. Conrad.Irwin 20:59, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
