Second sense?

Hi John. An anon added Verkürzungszeichen n as a translation of breve (“semicircular diacritical mark”); is this word indeed used in that sense in your experience? — I.S.M.E.T.A. 09:38, 21 July 2015 (UTC)

@I'm so meta even this acronym: I've seen some evidence of this. When I not at work, I'll see whether I can't rustle up some quotes. I also have found a quote that seems to indicate the meaning staccato mark, but I may be misreading it. —JohnC5 12:05, 21 July 2015 (UTC)
