Needs attestation. Not listed in the Duden. --Bruno413 (talk) 15:34, 17 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Duden is far away from containing all German words, and it's easily attested, e.g. simply doing a google books search for "active gebraucht" (= used actively). -Wilhelm-231 (talk) 05:37, 18 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Also archaic then? I don't find an attestation newer than 1800. --Bruno413 (talk) 08:28, 18 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I find younger usages but they're from the 19th century (e.g. 1808, 1843, 1859). Feel free to add a label if you want. -Wilhelm-231 (talk) 08:33, 19 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not familiar with Wiktionary yet to know what labels or categories are appropriate here. Maybe someone can do it who is more experienced? It's definitely a spelling that is no longer used or considered to be correct. --Bruno413 (talk) 14:21, 19 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Webster entry. Definitions need formatting. Synonyms and Antonyms need to be associated with definitions rather than numbers. -- Liliana 12:54, 11 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
