Usage examples with a noun, gerund, or infinitive[edit]

Could someone consider adding examples of usage of 'allow' with a noun, gerund, or infinitive, as well as explaining/detailing the differences? Thanks a lot. Augustin 12:00, 30 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, and by "someone", I meant "an English speaker", because there is no crystal-clear answer readily available on the Internet. Thanks in advance. Augustin 12:09, 31 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Merging allow it[edit]

Re @Fay Freak: I would say go for it if you really want to, and especially if you can find variations on the object such as "allow that". Also low it will have to be moved/retargeted. Ioaxxere (talk) 21:15, 7 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
