Hello. I've just seen your revert on my edit in the "as ever trod shoe-leather" article in the English Wiktionary. The Spanish translation I had put is indeed the correct one, at least in Southern Spain (maybe making it too colloquial, though). Can I undo your revert? - @Kodar: they are close but do not seem to mean exactly the same thing. As ever trod shoe-leather is a phrase, but de toda la vida is an adjective. It seems to me that translations need to at least be of the same part of speech.
