Testicle[edit]
Is it really from a Nahuatl word meaning testicle, or is it from a word meaning avocado that later came to mean testicle?--Simplificationalizer (talk) 00:35, 11 March 2017 (UTC)
- Indeed, apparently it originally meant "avocado" and only later became a slang word for "testicle". Fortunately the etymology has been changed to reflect his fact. Leaving this comment here in the case that someone comes looking for a reason why Wiktionary doesn't give the widespread explanation that the word originally meant "testicle". —Pinnerup (talk) 11:46, 29 January 2020 (UTC)
