Etymology[edit]

This word is used in Northern England to describe 'head' It may be related to the Berlin slang word 'Bonze' used to describe "head' as in 'boss' or 'chief", and ultimately to the Japanese 'Bozu' meaning high priest. — This unsigned comment was added by 68.5.245.244 (talk) at 17:05, 14 July 2019‎ (UTC).Reply
