Dubious Marryat citation?[edit]

We cite Frederick Marryat's Peter Simple for two slang noun senses here: a boaster/bully, and a liar. Isn't it more likely that the same sense is intended both times by Marryat? Equinox ◑ 19:25, 20 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
