I can certainly find sufficient cites that look like they support this (I put a sample on the citations page), but they all look like attributive use, or more likely, typos for cardiac. Kiwima (talk) 21:07, 31 December 2021 (UTC)

While those citations look like typos, I can find a few dictionaries which use(?) the word in the definitions of other words, and some books which translate an Ebers Papyrus passage in a way that takes a certain condition of "his [someone's] cardia" to be angina or heart disease (rather than a condition of the stomach). It seems very marginal (the uses in definitions are marginal, and the Papyrus translations are reflecting the original Greek word), but perhaps this is enough. I'm not sure. Certainly your citations all seem very disconnected from each other, and some use the word seemingly just in reference to a root. DTLHS (talk) 03:40, 4 January 2022 (UTC)

Yeah, the only one that's really a good use (IMO) is the Warraich / Ebers Papyrus one. No objection to RFV-failing this if there aren't two better cites to be found. - -sche (discuss) 01:43, 10 January 2022 (UTC)
