@GianWiki, I'd like to feature this as Foreign Word of the Day. Could you please add IPA and a quotation (with English translation)? —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 21:54, 1 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

Done. I wasn't able to find a quotation for the "relationship" sense, though. -- GianWiki (talk) 23:19, 1 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
@GianWiki: That's an issue for sure. Do you think it's not actually attested? —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 23:20, 1 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
It seems that way. this was the best I could find, and it's only a mention of the term in the "relationship" sense, and in an English-language context. — GianWiki (talk) 23:41, 1 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
FWIW, I had concerns about this myself when I checked this word earlier this year while trying to verify things that had been nominated as WT:UNTRANSLATABLE. I left it because it's mentioned in some works, and the comparison of resumed love to reheated cabbage exists, and I figured I just don't speak enough Italian to know where to find citations... but if you can't find it either, I'd say RFV (or removal) is in order... - -sche (discuss) 23:45, 1 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
