Etymology[edit]

Could someone please provide some sort of resource that explains why κέρας is the root of κερασός? My dictionaries (both Greek and English etymological) make no mention of this. Thanks! Medellia 20:34, 12 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Scientific names[edit]

What to do with this problem? Where is a good example of treatment of a plant? DCDuring 17:45, 8 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Comparability of adjective[edit]

I don't believe the adjective is comparable in all senses; certainly you wouldn't talk about a "more cherry" flavour or colour. Equinox 21:19, 7 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
