Wikipedia, in addition to listing chronoscope as a synonym to chronometer, calls it a fictional device often mentioned in science fiction. I am not familiar with such, but should this be mentioned in the wiktionary entry? Ragityman (talk) 02:45, 2 April 2017 (UTC)
- It occurs in Asimov's short story "The Dead Past" (1956), but (I believe) in few or no others. Wikipedia means that the concept is often used, not this word for it. Equinox ◑ 20:37, 12 February 2018 (UTC)
