This is my first time adding a word to Wiktionary. Be nice, but let me know if I've done anything wrong. There are four citations here total. From my own understanding of the word, and from how it's used in the citations, I think it should be stated in the definition that it is especially used to refer to a series of parties, and less commonly to refer to a single party (whether part of such a series or not), but I'm not sure how to write this succinctly.
