Negative verb sense[edit]

Sometimes "coaching" somebody is a bad thing, i.e. instructing or training someone when you shouldn't (like a witness who will speak on the stand, or a child). This connotation does not seem to be present with "instruct" or "train". Usage note? Subsense? Equinox 02:24, 18 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
