coincīdō versus coincidō[edit]

Concīdō means I cut up, concidō means I fall together. Incīdō means I cut open/into, incidō means I fall into/upon. So coincide (eng) should be the translation of coincidō and not of coincīdō.

I believe the pages coincido, coincidere and coincidi (maybe more?) use the wrong spelling. Does coincīdō even exist or is it used? Leendert Meyer 2001:838:305:0:0:0:0:3 12:31, 9 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
