Broader theatrical verb sense?[edit]
We mention an actor laughing. John Camden Hotten's Slang Dictionary (1873) has a broader definition: "to stick fast in the dialogue; to confuse, or put out the actors by making a mistake." Equinox ◑ 15:44, 17 May 2021 (UTC)
- I thought that it meant to confuse an actor so that he forgets his lines. SemperBlotto (talk) 15:48, 17 May 2021 (UTC)
Redundant translation table?[edit]
There already is a translation table for corpse in the article body. I'd suggest we merge them and replace one of them with the trans-see template. --Fytcha (talk) 14:57, 8 September 2021 (UTC)
