A bumpkin from the country. Keep translations, though.__Gamren (talk) 11:46, 11 May 2017 (UTC)
- Hmmm. I'm leaning towards keep as it seems to be one of those common collocations. — SMUconlaw (talk) 15:41, 11 May 2017 (UTC)
- Keep. Country bumpkin is much more common than just bumpkin. In fact, the former term probably came first. ---> Tooironic (talk) 11:44, 12 May 2017 (UTC)
- Keep, more or less a set phrase. DonnanZ (talk) 13:38, 15 May 2017 (UTC)

- Because it basically just means a bumpkin from the country. —Aɴɢʀ (talk) 12:07, 26 September 2017 (UTC)
- Anyway, I don't know why the RFD tag is still on it. The discussion was closed as keep last August. —Aɴɢʀ (talk) 12:09, 26 September 2017 (UTC)
- Closed: there was no consensus to delete it in the last discussion, and it appears that the RFD tag was accidentally not removed after that discussion was closed. — SGconlaw (talk) 08:01, 29 September 2017 (UTC)
