to crash one’s way[edit]
Hello. I have a translation exercise to do with "……… crashed its way into ………" (I suppose our teacher is no copyright fanatic but I still prefer not to put the complete sentence, just to be sure). I would translate it (into French) like this "Il s’est frayé un chemin jusqu’aux broussailles", but I am not sure, and since there is no Wiktionary entry for it, I’d like to ask native speakers. Missing noun sense in television?[edit]
Green's Newspeak (1984) calls it "desperately hurried work against a deadline" (in TV) — so what we would call a crunch in e.g. video game development. I wasn't able to search for this sense effectively. Equinox ◑ 18:52, 20 June 2020 (UTC)
