The part of speech is given here as noun, and the initial "a"/"one" omitted, but this is not consistent with other entries like one fry short of a Happy Meal. Having this as a noun seems wrong, e.g. "crates shy of a load" wouldn't mean two simpletons. It's predicative. 70.172.194.25 20:40, 5 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
