I am unsure about its archaic use because, according to the people explaining the older meaning, it used to be more positive compared to derëzi, even though it still dealt with cursing and evil eyes. So in a sense, derëbardhë was a light curse that could 'ruin your day' whereas derëzi was more like a hex. I put the question mark in case someone knows a better way of putting it in english to show the difference between the two terms. (8mike (talk) 21:33, 23 August 2015 (UTC))Reply
