desistive. I'm having trouble finding any (online) quotes for this. All I get is dictionary sites. — Vildricianus 15:53, 9 June 2006 (UTC)

No listing in any of my paper dictionaries, and the only dictionaries that have it online list it as from the 1913 Webster's. - TheDaveRoss 16:27, 9 June 2006 (UTC) Websters 1902 defines it as: "adjective [see desist] Final; conclusive; ending."
