@-sche: "WP says this is 'social sciences' jargon, not LGBT jargon": w:En homme (similary w:En femme) says "It is used in the transgender and crossdressing community". That sounds like LGBT jargon. Maybe it's both, LBGT and social science jargon? One of the two fields could have used it first, the other could have followed. -80.133.110.226 02:27, 19 February 2018 (UTC)

I got both pings. :) Thank you. I searched for the phrase and a number of sites came up with info on it, and I mixed up which one was saying it was social-science jargon... clearly a sign I needed to take a wikibreak for the day, haha. I'll leave the label as "LGBT" for now; possibly, as long as that label is present, the "especially of a trans or genderqueer person" can be removed, since this is also used by crossdressers and some drag performers, and rarely just of anyone. - -sche (discuss) 15:29, 19 February 2018 (UTC)
