The etymology of "fonio" may be a bit deeper than Wolof - no disrespect, of course, but noting similar words in Susu, Pular (likely from Yalunke), and Manding languages, it's worth asking if there's not an older common origin for this word.--A12n (talk) 14:28, 4 December 2018 (UTC)
