Is this definition correct? My understanding (also in Green's Newspeak, 1984) is that a "friend of ours" is just a member of the Mafia: they needn't be a rival or distant in any way. The contrast is with "friend of mine", which means non-Mafia. Can we confirm? Equinox 21:48, 15 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
