About the question about hyphenation: If the word has to be hyphenated (due to e.g. line breaks), it should not be hyphenated e.g. *glass-trut, *glas-strut, but glass-strut. In the hyphenated version, there is a total of 3 's', instead of 2 in the un-hyphenated version.

This is because it is a compound, from glass + strut, which triggers a rule in Swedish ortography that forbids three identical, consecutive consonants [thus the spelling of the entry word]. Use a hyphen, and that rule no longer applies.
