Does this refer to dried cocoa beans or nibs, cocoa powder, hot cocoa (beverage), or all of these? I assume it cannot be used to mean cacao (the plant from which cocoa is produced). 71.66.97.228 21:14, 10 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

I don’t know what nibs are. The Navajo do not have cacao plants or cocoa beans, only the canned powder that can be found in stores. I sure that if cacao plants grew in Dinetah, they would use it for them, but the plant doesn’t grow there. I don’t know what people do with dried beans, so it is hard to say anything about it. Navajos only have the same powdered cocoa that all American supermarkets carry.
