Etymology[edit]

@Mar vin kaiser: In light of an IP removing the alternative etymology (and even calling KWF names in Cebuano), is it obvious this one comes from habal or it's possible to be a folk etymology? I'll agree there'll be an unavoidable connection with Hubble because the vehicles crudely resembles the telescope. Same goes with skylab, which is clearly named after the space station, but it's also subject to folk etymology.-TagaSanPedroAko (talk) 20:21, 15 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

@TagaSanPedroAko: I have no idea at all. It'll be good to cite references for etymologies mentioned though. --Mar vin kaiser (talk) 23:38, 15 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Mar vin kaiser: Maybe the claim this is from habal is a possible false etymology (and the word is kind of crass), but that's a matter that goes to WT:ES. TagaSanPedroAko (talk) 23:50, 15 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
