Pronunciation

[edit]

@TagaSanPedroAko I know that you changed the pronunciation modules to incorporate how Tagalog treats /m/ /n/ and /ng/ as allophones, depending on what's the next sound, but for this specific example, in your opinion, is this right? Because for me, when I say "ibong malaya", the "ng" in "ibong" doesn't become an /m/ sound for me, actually it's so awkward to have two /m/ sounds together like that. I think no one says "ibom malaya". I think there's something wrong with how the allophones were set up in this module. What do you think? I think the /ng/ sound before /m/ still maintains its /ng/ sound. Mar vin kaiser (talk) 13:19, 13 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

@TagaSanPedroAko: See what happened in mangmang. Please change the module. --Mar vin kaiser (talk) 15:17, 13 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
