I've seen it on Twitter, but it doesn't seem to meet CFI; I don't see any hits for this sense anywhere durable. On Twitter, I also see "ice monkeys" used to mean "~people who play ice hockey / curling", "ICE goons", and "monkeys of or associated with the element of ice". Google Books turns up one hit where it's an expression for (or, an image invoked?) when it's very cold, and one where it's a toy(?) of some kind, and other SOP-looking things. - -sche (discuss) 09:29, 18 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
