I was Jack of the Dust on the USS Little Rock in 1964 My weekly duties were to bring up fresh supplies from the reefers below and Order all dry goods for that coming menu week. I had to know the quantities of all the menu items so that I would bring the proper quantity of supplies up to the galley area. Supplies were then taken from my storage office to the galley as the cooks prepared the weekly menus.. great job.. everybody loves the Kooks on board ship — This unsigned comment was added by 137.103.88.104 (talk).
