Talk:jackbooted

Jackbooted DOES have a meaning that goes WAY beyond "wearing jackboots". I think it has something to do with fascism? I have heard people say that corrupt governments will "jackboot" us if we do not stand up for our rights. However I never hear of "thugs" wearing jackboots so much as "fascists" so I think it may have some police/military connotation that should be noted, e.g. "authoritarian". — This unsigned comment was added by 71.116.59.165 (talk) at 20:26, 9 February 2010‎.
