Why should -eksa sequence come from an Iranian language ? Couldn't Latin (decem) or Greek (deka) or (almost) any other IE language fit the requirement ? 77.196.173.100 14:40, 6 October 2013 (UTC)

I removed the etymology. It was added by a user with a history of questionable and outright-wrong etymologies, and had other problems. Someone who knows something can add it back later with correct information. Chuck Entz (talk) 14:52, 6 October 2013 (UTC)
