Latin[edit]

In books.google.de/books?id=gSZDMAna4iEC&pg=PP10 (in Latin, from the 20th century) there is the abbreviation km = kilometra. That word looks like kilometre(s) and it should be very likely that it means kilometre or kilometres (if it is in plural). Is this a Latin translation, and is it not uncommon? -IP, 17:21, 10 December 2014 (UTC)
