Lasagne vs lasagna[edit]

British English generally uses "lasagne" and a British person unfamiliar with Italian might assume "lasagna" was a spelling mistake. By contrast an American not familiar with Italian or with British English, might presumably think "lasagne" was a spelling mistake. See
