The etymology is wrong, the pronunciation is wrong, the headword line is missing the plural, and the Chaucer quote just added is from Middle English.

Aside from the quote, the only changes since it was created in 2003 have involved adding, swapping or tweaking templates- mostly by bots.

I've found a use from 1605, so it probably isn't strictly Middle English, though most of the Google Books hits that aren't names or scannos are either Geoffrey Chaucer or John Lydgate, so adding a Middle English entry would be nice. Thanks! Chuck Entz (talk) 05:01, 29 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
